BIPO
& TONI'S is an organization of long standing, dedicated to the encounter
between different continents, different languages and different cultures.
Our concerns are cultural exchange, appreciation of the Spanish language
and development work in Ecuador. Therefore the school was founded in 1983.
The Academy has a building with garden and barbecue in the best
location in modern Quito, Ecuador. Apart from the classrooms, the school
has a video room, a small library, a bar area for breaks, an in-house
travel agency and last but not least our Cabaña Suiza, a restaurant-bar
with cultural events.
You will have the benefit of private lessons and can
choose between 20 and 30 lessons per week. This allows the teacher to
adapt the programmed of lessons exactly to your individual needs and to
cater to your special wishes. Your commitment and the extensive experience
of our teachers allow you to achieve an above-average command of the
Spanish language without excessive effort and in a short time. Our courses
are suitable for beginners and for advanced students. Group activities
such as parties, excursions of sports activities ensure enjoyable social
contact.
Courses
You have the choice between six different courses, taking individual
classes or in-group lessons. This allows the teacher to adapt the
programme of lessons exactly to your individual needs and to cater to your
special wishes. Your commitment and the extensive
experience of our teachers allow you to achieve an above-average command
of the Spanish language without excessive effort and in a short time.

Spare Time Activities
There are no limits to the ways you can find to enjoy your stay. A
notice board in the school entry hall gives information about local
events. It is also possible to investigate the city and its immediate
surroundings with your teacher during course time, or to visit a market or
a museum. Sometimes members of your host family will also accompany you on
such outings. In addition, our travel agent can help you to organise a
longer expedition at any time. Only boring people will be bored in
Ecuador! We have been working together with a local travel agency for a
long time. Ecuador offers a great variety of interesting possibilities,
among which the Galapagos Islands are the best known attraction.
The varius Indio cultures and the
rich variety of vegetation tempt the visitor to undertake short and
longer expeditions. Mr. Luis Gomez, tourism and travel adviser, gives
advice twice a week in the school itself.
Accommodation
Course participants stay in specially chosen Ecuadorian families in
single rooms with full or half board and laundry service. This
arrangement allows you to speak Spanish outside the regular course
times, to make interesting contacts and to become acquainted with the
Ecuadorian way of life. |
