 ANA'S
HOME is located in Quito, Ecuador; between the old and modern city, on a
beautiful hill where Incas built the moon's temple, called San Juan. Our
modern home not only provides a spacious and comfortable place to live and
learn but is also conveniently located close to the city center and
provides stunning views of Quito and the surrounding mountains. Lessons
are based on an efficient program covering vocabulary, grammar,
pronunciation and conversation. We have courses for people with a range of
Spanish skills, from beginners to advanced students.
Each program consists of oral and written exercises. In
addition to our classes, we offer study materials; and cultural programs
that include art exposition, lectures and travel. We offer classes for
individuals or groups of up to five people, every day of the week, and in
the place of your choice: Ana's Home, your lodging, in a café, or even
along your travels. Our highly qualified teachers have extensive
experience in teaching Spanish to visitors and are flexible with your
learning requirements.
The courses
 Based on our broad experience we can almost guarantee
that you will be able to speak quite fluent Spanish after 6 – 8 weeks of
study. Our classes can be arranged according to
your needs and schedule, any day of the week. This
didactic material has been recommended by Spanish teachers as the best and
more modern tool for "one to one" teaching. Our
teachers are prepared and modernized in these topics, every time. You receive an Official Certificate at the end of your successful
general studies. Students who spend less time will also receive a
certificate for their studies.
You choose the number of hours that you want to study.
Our recommended study program is 4 hours a day. However, if you want to
learn out of the classroom you can go with your teacher to a museum, a
café or on an excursion and practice your Spanish while you explore new
places. We also offer programs in the jungle and in
the coast, classes for individuals and groups, or a combination of both.
LEVELS
Levels of proficiency in the ALTE Framework D.E.L.E exams are linked to the Common European Framework of
Reference for Languages: Learning, teaching, assessment, achieved by
ALTE . In fact they are the only certificated exams referred to in the
Framework document as specifically linked to it by a long-term
research project. Qualifications are plotted
against six clearly defined levels. This makes it easy for anyone
involved in language teaching and testing (learners, teachers, teacher
trainers etc.) to see the level of different qualifications. It also
means that employers and educational institutions can easily compare
qualifications and see how they relate to exams they already know in
their own country. |

EXTRACURRICULAR COURSES
 SUPERIOR
OR MODULATING LEVEL, each student's needs are taken into consideration to
help their use of language in a particular profession. This level
emphasize reading or updated topics, writing through essays, letters, and
conversation through debates, discussions, etc.
PRACTICAL TRAINING, every student is encouraged to improve their Spanish
out side the classroom in their professional environment or in any
institution of the interest.
The following activities maybe chosen by the student: Visiting universities and discussions with Ecuadorian students
(exchange of information and knowledge). Visits to any company or industrial factory of interest. Visits and collaboration with different social institutions
(hospitals, foundations for poor people.)
