Horizonte Latins Spanish Academy, established in 2002, is formed by young
professionals willing to provide an excellent experience within a
fascinating culture. We have created different Spanish Programs according
to the needs and interests of our students!! We understand that our guests
are not looking for Spanish studies only, but a complete and enriching
experience.
Our Spanish school, legally recognized
by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ecuador, is located in the
heart of the city. From this vantage point you will easily reach either
the "New town" or the “Old Town”. Public Transportation and taxis are everywhere and available anytime.
The tourist area which offers markets, handicrafts stores, hostels,
restaurants, internet cafes, travel agencies and museums is located 5
minutes walk from the Academy.
Nuevo Horizonte - LSA is run by highly experienced
and trained teachers. Classes begin each Monday. The methodology
behind our courses is based on function and communication. This
enables our students to develop every language skill in a dynamic and
effective way. We offer Minigroup (2 to 5 students) as well as
Individual classes, letting all of our students obtain maximum benefit
from every lesson.
Our Teachers
 Nuevo Horizonte - LSA staff have a lot of experience serving students
from different countries and we speak many languages (English, French,
German, Italian and Spanish). Our objective is to facilitate the learning
of Spanish as well as to create and promote international and
multicultural relations.
Spanish lesson
Most of our teachers are young professionals, and everyone is energetic
and outgoing. It is perfect because, for us, it is very appealing to
interact with other young people of different cultures. We feel very
comfortable showing the main tourist attractions, museums or just going to
eat pizza or drinking a good cup of coffee!!
Program
Depending on your interests you can join any of the following programs.
Minigroup classes (2 to 5 students per class) begin each Monday,
Individual classes can begin any day: This program
is developed in different levels from Beginner, Basic, Intermediate to
Advanced. Each level has been split into two main sections each of which
is covered in one week. It is based on a functional
methodology which integrates grammar, writing, reading, listening and
speaking. It can be easily adapted to the interests and needs of our
students. |

Spanish for Travelers: This is a 2-week program created especially for those students who are
traveling throughout Ecuador or South America and need to be able to
understand and express themselves in the most important situations. It
applies a very dynamic methodology including mainly communication skills.
During the second week it introduces grammar, writing, reading and
listening skills.
Medical Spanish: 20 weekly hours of
medical Spanish lessons during one month combined with 20 weekly hours
during one month of volunteering job in the fields of Gynaecology or
Paediatrics at a hospital in Quito run by the city.
