Hotel La Cartuja in Quito Ecuador

La Cartuja is set in a very safe and quiet area and this is a great advantage in a large city. Our neighbours are the USA and French embassies. Just crossing the street you can visit the Central Museum, with an outstanding collection of Pre-Colombian art About 10 minutes walking, there is the colonial town ,one of the best kept in south america.

La Cartuja is a new colonial style house and was painstakingly remodeled in 1999. The lodgings are extremely pleasant and are decorated with exquisite taste. There is a tranquil green courtyard behind the main house where guests relax and sunbathe.

Edurne, the owner, will go out of her way to help you and make you feel at home. All in all, La Cartuja offers great personality and it is probably the homeliest place you will find in the Ecuadorian capital.
