Galapagos The Best 4 days / 3 nights

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Baltra - El Chato Reserve/Lava Tunnels - Twin Craters

At the Baltra Airport the guide will be waiting for you to transfer you to the hotel, on Santa Cruz Island. On the way we will make a stop to visit the Gemelos, formations created by the underground collapse of the volcanic chambers. We will also visit the El Chato Reserve, natural habitat of the Galapagos giant tortoises. We will continue towards the lava tunnels, where we will walk inland approximately 100 meters, the guide will give us a little explanation about the types of volcanic eruptions that formed the islands.

Day 2: North Seymour Island – Bachas

Departure 07:30, we will go to the Itabaca channel, where we board our yacht that will take us to the North Seymour Island. We will disembark, we will hike along the coast observing large colonies of blue-footed boobies and the royal frigate, a different species from the common frigate. After lunch, we will snorkel with the green sea turtles and mischievous sea lions. Then we will visit Bachas Beach to enjoy the wonderful sun and sea of the Galapagos. Return to the Hotel.

or Bartolome Island - Sullivan

After breakfast, we will go to the dock to take our boat that will take us to Bartolomé Island. We will disembark to climb the long wooden staircase that will take us to a viewpoint that is the highest point on the island, where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Pinnacle rock. Then we will snorkel with sea turtles, white tip reef sharks, tropical fish, sea lions, and many other unique marine species of the Galapagos archipelago. We will continue with our journey to Sullivan Bay, to appreciate surprising lava formations, product of a volcanic eruption.

Day 3: Plazas Islands - Carrion Point

Departure at 7:30, we will go to the dock of the Itabaca Canal, where we will board the yacht that will take us to the Plazas Islands. Here we will observe one of the largest sea lion colonies in the archipelago. Afterwards we will walk along a ravine to observe land iguanas, some marine, blue-footed boobies, masked, forked nesting gulls and tropical birds. Depending on the season, the vegetation changes its color, in the rainy season it is deep green and in the dry season orange and purple. Return to the hotel.

Day 4: Transfer Hotel – Airport

After breakfast, departure to the airport to take the flight back to Quito or Guayaquil.
