The
Quito school is located in the heart of the "New City." Our colonial-style
house is completely renovated and equipped with barbeque, video room,
fireplace, library, laundry, storage room, and a common room for breaks.
There is also a patio with garden to enjoy the sunny
weather of Quito. Our neighborhood is home to a vibrant market and is
filled with a variety of small restaurants and stores. The new Trolley-Bus
connects us in only ten minutes with the historic Old Town and the modern
airport.
Program
Our
program consists of four separate teaching levels-beginner through
advanced-with students receiving one-on-one or group (maximum 4 students
per class) instruction in specially designed classrooms. All of our
instructors are native Ecuadorians giving students invaluable insights
into Latin American history, culture and traditions. The instructors are
highly qualified, holding university degrees in linguistics and Latin
American literature. We also provide students with the most up-to-date
teaching materials available. For those students whom have previously
studied Spanish, we conduct an oral and written examination to assess
their level of knowledge. This enables us to begin instruction at the
appropriate level, as well as identify weaknesses. On a weekly basis this
examination continues and we provide a personalized supervision of the
learning progress. After completion of a course, students will receive an
official diploma from the Ecuadorian Republic.
At advanced levels, we offer specialized courses, such
as business Spanish, literature, Latin American history and special
vocabulary classes such as for medicine, law etc. These courses are
available on a one-to-one basis only. For outdoor persons we offer an interactive course
in the Amazon rainforest. Imagine to study Spanish in the most bio
diverse Ecosystem on earth under a thatched roof in a bamboo bungalow
during a heavy tropical thunderstorm, or on a riverbank while the sun
softly tans your skin and the jungle performs a marvelous concert.
Classes are held in groups of maximum 4 students. Daily exotic
excursions complete this exotic experience. Interactive courses are
available for a one or two week immersion. |

For those who wish to study in a very unique and quiet
atmosphere we offer our course “Ranchero”. Courses are held at a horse
ranch on the bottom of the biggest crater on earth (Pululahua) which is
also home to an ancient Indian community. Classes are held in groups of
maximum 4 students. Horses are available for free to explore the
surroundings and to experience the magic of the crater. Have a chat with
an Indian and listen to a mystical story!
Group classes (maximum 4 students per class),
start every Monday and are available for 4 hours per day. We strive to
create a lively atmosphere, as conversation, games, movies etc. are woven
into class.
Individual classes (one-on-one), are available
from four to seven hours per day. We strive to provide a work environment
that is conducive to learning and concentration. Therefore, our classrooms
are individual rooms designed to minimize noise and other distractions.
