Intiñan Museum

The Intiñan Museum is a cultural center that interprets the history of Ecuador, located north-west of the city of Quito, in the parish of San Antonio de Pichincha, 200 meters from the Middle of the World Monument.

It is an interactive museum that fosters and disseminates knowledge of the solar culture, where they point to the equinoxes and solstices. It also offers information on the customs and way of life of the ancestral peoples who inhabited the area, along with a collection of fauna, flora, instruments and other cultural manifestations.

You will also be able to carry out a series of fun experiments that reveal some of the earthly phenomena caused by being in the Middle of the World. You can also visit centennial huts, the path of the sun (Intiñan) in the Acoratene and place an egg on the head of a nail, accompanied by a natural and privileged environment.
