Galápagos Hopping 7 days / 6 nights

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Baltra - El Chato Reserve - Lava Tunnels

The guide will be waiting for you at the Baltra airport, to transfer you to the hotel in Puerto Ayora. Along the way, we will make a brief stop at Los Gemelos craters, formed by the collapse of volcanic materials, surrounded by forest of escalecías. Then we will visit El Chato Reserve, ideal to observe Galapagos Giant Tortoises in their natural habitat. We will also make a short and easy walk through the lava tunnels, which are natural formations of thousands of years that have left the different eruptions. Return to the Hotel.

Day 2: Floreana Island

Departure at 07:15 to the beautiful Floreana Island, disembarking in Puerto Velasco Ibarra. We will go to the upper part of the island, visit La Galapaguera to observe the land turtles. Later we will visit the caves, which were used by the first inhabitants of the island as their home. In the afternoon we will go to Playa Negra, where we will observe sea lions, sea birds, and snorkel with exotic fish species and if we are lucky we will swim with sea turtles.

Day 3: Transfer to Isabela - Humedales - Tintoreras islot

After breakfast, we will board the yacht bound for Isabela Island. We will visit the Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center, where we will learn about the conservation efforts of the Galapagos giant tortoises, then we will visit the flamingo pool to appreciate the majesty of these beautiful birds. Later we will go to the Tintoreras islet, we will take a walk along the path to observe the channel of the sharks, sea lions, marine iguanas, time to snorkel in the company of tropical fish, sea turtles and sharks. Return to the hotel.

Day 4: Sierra Negra Volcano - Return to Santa Cruz

This morning, we will visit the Sierra Negra volcano that has the largest basaltic caldera in the Galapagos. We will take a walk to admire the incredible views of the ecosystem that surrounds it. The site offers the opportunity to observe up to seven species of finches and a rich display of vegetation.

From there we head towards the port to have lunch at a local restaurant. Then we return to Santa Cruz.

Day 5: Santa Fe Island

Departure 07:45 to the Santa Fe Island, located in the central part of the archipelago, southeast of Santa Cruz. On the way we will see sea birds such as blue footed boobies, seagulls, terns on the walls and cliffs. Then we will snorkel with harmless manta rays and tropical fish, occasionally we will observe sea turtles. Then we will go to Playa Escondida, which offers beautiful landscapes with crystal clear waters, we will be able to observe colonies of marine iguanas in their natural state. Return to the hotel.

or Pinzon Island

Departure 07:45, we will go to the main pier, to board our yacht that will take us to Pinzón Island. The approximate sailing time is 1 hour and 20 minutes. We will observe seabirds such as blue-footed boobies and frigates, from the boat, we continue with the tour to experience the best snorkeling in the world. Finally the tour ends with a wet landing at La Fe or Las Palmas beach, where we will take a short walk enjoying the beach. Return to the Hotel.

Day 6: Loberia islot - Punta Estrada - Cracks

After breakfast we will go to the dock to take the boat that will take us to the Lobería, named after the great colony of sea lions, then we will go to Punta Estrada which is a small gulf of calm waters where we can see a small colony of blue-footed boobies and pelicans. We will disembark and take a short walk to the viewpoint of the shark channel, where we can observe them from a height of 14 to 15 meters. Later we will go to the beach of the dogs, on the rocks we will be able to observe a colony of marine iguanas, zayapas and occasionally lava herons. In the afternoon we will go to Las Grietas, a paradisiacal crystal clear lagoon, where we will swim like in a natural pool, on the return visit the beach of the Germans, where we will enjoy the sun and the Galapagos Sea.

Day 7: Transfer Hotel - Airport

After breakfast, transfer to the Baltra airport to take the flight back to Quito or Guayaquil.
