Galápagos Hopping 8 days / 7 nights

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Baltra - El Chato Reserve - Lava Tunnels

Arrival at Baltra Island, the guide will be waiting for you at the airport, transfer to Santa Cruz. Along the way we will make our first stop at Los Gemelos, 2 extinct craters surrounded by forests of escalecías and other endemic plants of the Galapagos. Then we will go to the Santa Rosa sector, we will visit El Chato Reserve, where we will observe the giant tortoises in their natural state. Then we will go to lava tunnels, where the guide will not give an explanation about the types of volcanic eruptions that formed the islands.

Day 2: North Seymour Island - Bachas

Early in the morning, we will take the boat that will take us to the North Seymour Island, which was formed by a lifting of its rocky lava base under the Ocean. Ideal place for hiking, along a circular path that will take us to explore the rocky coast, to appreciate the largest seabird colony in the Galapagos.

After lunch, we will snorkel accompanied by green sea turtles and the famous Galapagos Sharks. We will visit Bachas Beach to enjoy the sun and sand. At 5pm we will start the return to the Hotel.

or Bartolome Island - Sullivan Bay

Very early in the morning the guide will pick you up at the hotel, we will go to the pier to take the yacht to Bartolomé Island that has unmatched landscapes. Upon arrival we will climb a stairway to a beautiful viewpoint, from where we can appreciate its two beaches and the Pinnacle stone. Then we will practice snorkeling in Sullivan Bay to swim with colorful fish, sea turtles, white tip sharks and in cold weather you can see penguins. Return to the Hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to Isabela - Humedales - Tintoreras islot

Departure at 06:30 am, bound for Isabela Island. Arrival in Puerto Villamil, we will visit the Giant Turtle Breeding Center, to learn about the process of raising and reproducing the giant turtles, we will also visit the flamingo lagoon. Lunch at a restaurant on the island. We will continue with our journey to the Tintorera islet, we disembark for a walk along the trail, observation of the shark channel, sea lions, marine iguanas, etc. Return to Santa Cruz Island.

Day 4: Sierra Negra Volcano - Concha Perla

In the morning and after breakfast, our guide will lead us to the flanks of the Sierra Negra volcano. We will take a walk through spectacular lava landscapes and admiring spectacular lava landscapes and the different vegetation zones. Later we will go to Concha Perla, an exceptional place for snorkelling, where we can observe colorful fish, sea urchins, starfish, sea lions and sea turtles. Finally we will return to the hotel.

Day 5: Isabela beach - Return to Santa Cruz

Free morning to enjoy the beautiful beach of Isabela. Lunch. Return to Santa Cruz.

Day 6: Tortuga bay - Charles Darwin Research Station

After breakfast, we will go to Tortuga Bay, famous for being a nesting place for black turtles, considered one of the most beautiful white sand beaches. We will continue with the tour to the Charles Darwin Station, where we will have the opportunity to learn more about the conservation efforts of the Galapagos giant tortoises, as well as observe the terrestrial iguana pens. Return to the hotel.

Day 7: Floreana Island

Breakfast. Departure to the south of the Galapagos to visit Floreana Island. We will disembark in Puerto Velasco Ibarra, we will go to the upper part of the Island where we visit Las Cuevas de lava volcanica. After lunch we snorkel on the black beach in the company of sea lions, sea turtles and tropical fish. In the afternoon we will return to the Hotel, where we can rest from this beautiful trip.

Day 8: Transfer Hotel - Airport

After breakfast, transfer to the Baltra airport to take the flight back to Quito or Guayaquil.
