 The South American Language Center has experience since 1989 on the Spanish teaching field, with customers from all over the world. Supported by the Education and Culture Ministry of Ecuador.
South American Language Center is located in Quito, only 10 minutes from the Quito International airport and within walking distance of local restaurants, travel agencies and hotels. The school has a cafeteria, tranquil gardens, numerous classrooms and staff always present assist you in any way.
This school is the ideal base from which to discovery the numerous unique and beautiful tourist attractions that Ecuador has to offer. What better way than to practice your Spanish than while enjoying the wonderful sights, sounds and flavours of this tranquil Andean nation!
It is a bit pricier than other options, at around €8/hour, but with the price comes one-on-one classes, help with home-stay arrangements, salsa lessons, cooking classes and tours around Quito. Courses can last anywhere between a week to 8 weeks and go for four hours a day up to seven hours. There are video, multimedia and listening labs and the price includes books, an ID card, and a diploma from the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education at the end of the course.
Method
 Program in an individual way(one to one class). After one or two months of intensive study and daily living, students get amazed with their new Spanish skills. Achieving the same level of Spanish with any other method, would actually take much more time and effort.
During the lessons, the instructor uses several resources such as videos, games, multimedia, diverse exercises and reading passages. These materials make learning more dynamic and flexible. Above all this, the student is always encouraged to use and apply the learned structures.
Activities

In order to make teaching more effective, our method is supplemented by exercises, discussions, games, cultural excursions, videos, and audio.
After each lesson, the student completes an oral and written quiz to assure the knowledge acquired.
South American Language Center also provide extra activities to the students, which are organized in a schedule so that all the students are able to enjoy their spare time after every daily lesson. |
The purpose is to offer further knowledge of different sites and of Ecuadorian culture, and for inter cultural experiences.
They are optional and provided at no additional cost. These activities are:
* Ecuadorian cooking classes.

City tours to museums, art galleries, etc.
* Conversation club.
* Dance lessons featuring salsa and other Latin rhythms.
* Group exercises.
* Video and Games.

The professionally-trained staff regularly attend workshops and seminars to ensure that their skills and teaching methods are constantly up-to-date.
