Quito spanish schools

The Institute Atahualpa is located in the heart of modern Quito, close to the main shopping area Amazonas. Quito's most important shops, travel agencies and restaurants can be found there. Because of its central location, the school can easily be reached by bus. The school itself offers a pleasant and familiar atmosphere. It is a small school where the student is at the centre of attention. Therefore, the individual expectations of each student can be met. We work exclusively together with teachers having a minimum experience of five years in teaching Spanish and an university degree.

Atahualpa offers its students experienced one-to-one lessons for beginners and advanced students, accommodation with an Ecuadorian family, three daily meals and laundry service, weekend-activities, studies outside of Quito, trips to the Ecuadorian Sierra, an interesting afternoon activity program in Quito from Monday to Friday, preparation for the exams of the University of Salamanca (D.E.L.E.) and other students' services, like free airport pick-up.

Course Standard

consists of 4 one-to-one lessons at our school class take place Monday to Friday from 8.30 h to 12.30 h (break included), in the afternoons you attend the cultural program called Quito Cultural family accommodation (with 3 daily meals and laundry service), airport pick-up at Quito airport on your arrival by your host family

Course Individual

the study units can be put together individually because of the time schedule we are flexible: upon request Spanish class can be arranged at Saturday and Sunday as well in the afternoons you have the possibility to attend the cultural program called Quito Cultural from 14.00 to 16.00 family accommodation (with 3 daily meals and laundry service) airport pick-up at Quito airport on your arrival by your host family.

Course Private - in a teacher's house

you live in a teacher's house together with his/her family the one-to-one classes you receive in the house of your teacher the private study units can be put together individually week-end activities as well as Quito Cultural can be organized privately or with other Atahualpa students.

Private-courses can be combined freely with any other offer described family accommodation (with 3 daily meals and laundry service) airport pick-up at Quito airport on your arrival by your host family

Quito Cultural - afternoon activities

Apart of the private Spanish lessons, in the afternoons (Monday to Friday) from 14.00 to 16.00 the cultural program called Quito Cultural is offered to show you the the interesting and exciting parts of Quito and its surroundings.

Accommodation with an Ecuadorian host family

In the host family you will have everything you need: private room, three daily meals, laundry service, you will be picked up on arrival at the airport by your family no extra costs

Family accommodation has proved to be the best way to get into the language because there students have the opportunity to use the foreign language by means of discussions apart from school lessons. We have ready a good host family for you in Quito a good choice is important for us.
