Galapagos Excellence 5 days / 4 nights

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer Airport - Los Gemelos Craters - El Chato Reserve / Tunnels

Arrival at Baltra Airport, then we will go to the hotel located on Santa Cruz Island. Before our arrival we will make a stop at the Twin Craters, in the middle of a forest of escalecias in the upper part of the island.

We will also visit the El Chato Reserve, where the Galapagos giant tortoises live. It is also the place where several wild birds nest. To finish we will visit the natural lava tunnel that is completely illuminated.

Day 2: Isabela island (with Islote Tintoreras)

After breakfast, we will go to the yacht that will take us to Isabela Island, to visit the Giant Turtle Breeding Center of all ages, here the guide will explain the process of raising and reproducing turtles that are in danger of extinction.

We will continue with the journey to the flamingos lagoon, and we will have time to enjoy Isabela beach. Then we will visit the Tintoreras Islet, a bay with calm turquoise waters, where we can observe sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas, rays, etc.

or Floreana Island

Very early we will start our yacht tour towards Academy Bay, on the way we will enjoy its turquoise water and its impressive landscapes. We will arrive at Puerto Velasco Ibarra, disembark and take a bus, we will visit the Galapagueras, to see the turtles in a semi-natural state. Later we will go to "Las Cuevas", they were used as a refuge by pirates and whalers who came to the Island. In the afternoon we snorkelled on the black beach in the company of sea lions, sea turtles and tropical fish. At the end of the day we will return to the Hotel.

Day 3: Santa Fe Island

After breakfast, we will go to our new destination, Santa Fe Island, on the way we will observe in the huge ravines a forest of giant cacti endemic to the island, colonies of pelicans, boobies and seagulls. We will also visit a beautiful bay with very calm waters inhabited by a large number of sea lions, ideal for swimming with manta rays and tropical fish. To end our day we will take a relaxing time at Playa Escondida, then return to the hotel.

or Pinzón Island

We will visit Pinzón Island, home to the giant Galapagos tortoises of the endemic subspecies. During the tour we will observe seabirds such as blue-footed boobies and frigates. Upon arrival we can practice the best snorkeling in the world. Finally the tour ends with a wet landing at La Fe or Las Palmas beach.

Day 4: Lobería - Punta Estrada - Grietas

This day we will visit La Lobería, an ideal place for snorkelling in the company of a colony of playful sea lions and multicolored fish. We will continue with our journey to Punta Estrada, we will visit the ravine to observe a small colony of blue-footed boobies and pelicans. Then we will disembark at the dock, to take a short walk to the viewpoint of the shark channel, to appreciate them from a height of 14 to 15 meters. Later, we will go to Playa de los Perdos, where we can see a colony of marine iguanas, zayapas and occasionally lava herons on the rocks.

Later we will go to Las Grietas, a paradisiacal lagoon of crystalline water, where we will swim like in a natural pool, on the return we will visit the beach of the Germans, where you can enjoy the sun and the Galapagos Sea.

Day 5: Transfer Hotel - Airport

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport to take your return flight to Quito or Guayaquil.
