Tour Galapagos Classic 4 days / 3 night

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer Airport - Hotel - Free afternoon

The guide will be waiting for you at the Baltra Airport to transfer you to the hotel on Santa Cruz Island. In the afternoon you will have free time to shop for handicrafts or walk along the Malecon in Puerto Ayora.

Day 2: Lobería - Punta Estrada - Las Grietas

Very early in the morning the guide will pick us up at the hotel to start our adventure in La Lobería, a perfect place to swim next to a colony of playful sea lions and multicolored fish, if we are lucky we will also observe sea turtles and manta rays.

We will continue with our journey to Punta Estrada, to observe a small colony of blue-footed boobies and pelicans in the ravine. We will disembark at the pier and take a short walk to the shark viewpoint to admire them from a height of 14 to 15 meters. Then we will go to the beach of the dogs where a colony of marine iguanas, crabs and probably lava herons await us on the rocks. Later we will visit Las Grietas, to swim like in a natural pool of crystalline water. At the end of the afternoon we will start our return, without before making a stop at the beach of the Germans to enjoy the sun and the Galapagos Sea.

Day 3: Tortuga Bay - El Chato Reserve / Tunnels - Gemelos Craters

After breakfast, we will start our tour with a 40 minute walk to one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the Galapagos and the world, Tortuga Bay where we will enjoy the sun and the sea accompanied by pelicans and seagulls. At noon we will return to the hotel to enjoy an exquisite lunch.

Later we will go to the upper part of the island of Santa Cruz, we will visit the Twin Craters, geological sinks in the middle of a forest of stairs. Then we will go to the El Chato Reserve, where the famous giant Galapagos tortoises live in a natural state, we will observe them relaxing in or submerged in the El Chato lagoon. In addition, this area is home to many wild birds, such as Finches, Witches Birds, Cattle Herons and sometimes Pachays. We will also walk through a natural lava tunnel that was completely illuminated by the owners of the room.

Before finishing our tour, we will visit the Charles Darwin Station, where we will observe the breeding centers of giant tortoises and corrals of land iguanas. The naturalist guides will give us a talk about the diversity of flora and fauna in the Galapagos.

Finally we will start our return to the hotel along the Malecon in Puerto Ayora so that they can buy the latest souvenirs in the artisan market and other stores.

Day 4: Transfer Hotel - Airport

After breakfast the guide will take you to the airport for your return flight to Quito or Guayaquil.
