Shalalá Viewpoint - Quilotoa Lake - Toachi Canyon

Itinerary

Very early our tour guide will pick you up at the agreed point, to take the route that will take us to live an unforgettable experience.

During the trip, we will enjoy unique landscapes, if the weather permits we will observe the imposing Cotopaxi volcano, Ilinizas and the most varied Andean landscape, in a journey that lasts approximately three and a half hours, until we reach our main destination, the Quilotoa.

Our first visit will be the Mirador de Shalalá, located at 3900 meters above sea level, this fabulous architectural work of wood and glass will offer us the most spectacular views of the lagoon with its green-turquoise waters, in this place, we will make a fascinating photo shoot.

Later we will go to the main entrance, to make the descent to the Laguna, a walking tour that lasts approximately 50 minutes, here if you want we will take a ride in kayak or boat. After enjoying this wonderful moment, we will undertake the return to the top, the same that can be on foot or on a mule.

Before ending the tour, and on our way back, we will make a brief stop at the Toachi Canyon, an impressive geological fault, surrounded by a pine forest, inside you can see the Toachi River.

Later in the afternoon, we will return to Quito.
